How to Join

We are a group of dedicated volunteers from the local Community working alongside Torbay Council to produce the Paignton Neighbourhood Plan.   This is a new government approach unlike anything ever before, because it will be the local Community that decides what happens and not just the authorities.   We are therefore appealing for as many as possible in our community to join the Forum to help prepare the Plan so that it is truly led and supported by the Community.

Membership of the Forum is absolutely FREE and is open to a much wider number of individuals than required in the new legislation.  All you have to do is show that you are eligible to join because you meet one of the following:

  • you are a resident in the area
  • you work in the area
  • you are a Torbay Councillor for any part of the area
  • you own property in the area
  • you are a retailer in the area
  • you represent a local organisation operating in the area

Your Community   >   Your Say   >   Your Vote   =   YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

So please join now, and help shape the future of our community !!
